The Boardman City Council met Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023, at Boardman City Hall. Some of the action items the council considered during the meeting were the North Urban Renewal District ordinance and creating an escrow account for Rotschy Inc.

Tuesday, Aug. 1

Stanfield City Council, 6 p.m., council chambers, 150 W. Coe Ave., Stanfield (Ben Burgener, 541-449-3831).

Regular meeting.

Boardman City Council, 7 p.m., city hall, 200 City Center Circle, Boardman (541-481-9252).

Regular meeting. The council held a public hearing and vote on the North Urban Renewal Plan and establishing and creating an escrow account for Rotschy Inc.

Umatilla City Council, 7 p.m., city hall, 700 Sixth St., Umatilla (541-922-3226).

Wednesday, Aug. 2

Umatilla County Board of Commissioners, 9 a.m., Umatilla County Courthouse, Room 130, 216 S.E. Fourth St., Pendleton (541-276-7111).

Regular meeting. Business items include a report from the Charter Review Committee, an update on Amazon Web Services, considerations for approving the purchases of a water tank system purchase, public health contract and funds to repair a community corrections vehicle. The board also plans to vote on tax foreclosure notices and to discuss options and decide level of support for the 2023 Fair Youth Livestock Auction.

Also, the Umatilla County Planning Division is asking the appointment of Ann Minton, of the Hermiston area, to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission.

The board will hold an executive session after the public meeting to discuss employment and real property.

Thursday, Aug. 10

Hermiston Irrigation District, 4 p.m., Hermiston Irrigation District Office, 366 E. Hurlburt Ave., Hermiston (Sonia Nash, 541-567-3024).
