- The Project PATH Sleep Center operates Dec. 12, 2022, at 80487 N. Highway 395, Hermiston. The Hermiston City Council approved the strategic plan for the Practical Assistance through Transitional Housing Project in May of 2023. The Project PATH Advisory Board meets Thursday, Aug. 24, 9 a.m. at Hermiston City Hall, 180 N.E. Second St., Hermiston.

Thursday, Aug. 24
Umatilla County Special Library District board, 5:30 p.m., 425 S. Main St., Pendleton.
The board plans to discuss several items of new business, including updates on a Juneteenth personnel policy, the library district’s audit process and gathering information regarding the district’s Nov. 4 in-service date.
Under old business, the board will highlight its recent training and give a reminder about ethics training in September and the annual conference in February. The board also will review the district’s end of year report.

The board plans to discuss updates regarding the transitional housing program. The advisory board meets the fourth Thursday of every month to discuss updates on the project.
