HERMISTON — Hermiston High School classmates from the class of 1958 held a three-day celebration in recognition of 65 years since graduating.

The group started the reunion weekend on Sept. 22 with a meet-and-greet at The Last Chance Tavern.

Reunited classmates met for dinner Sept. 23 at Maxwell Siding Event Center, where they also held a silent auction to raise money for HHS students pursuing further education in the fields of medicine or education.

And finally, they gathered Sept. 24 for brunch and to celebrate the lives of classmates who had died, also at Maxwell Siding.

“A grand and glorious time was had by all,” Rita Walker said after a full weekend of catching up.
