SAIF on Oct. 12 in a press release announced dividend checks were going out for a total of $135 million to 52,023 employers statewide. Businesses and organizations are receiving 22-27% of their standard premium back.
“This marks the 14th year in a row SAIF has been able to offer a dividend, and the 26th dividend since 1990,” according to the press release. SAIF determines whether a policyholder dividend is appropriate based on capital levels, claim trends and the overall economic environment.
