TruCare Pregnancy Clinic celebrates new Hermiston location

HERMISTON — TruCare Pregnancy Clinic in Hermiston celebrated its new location Oct. 26 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Friends, supporters, staff and representatives of the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce scrunched together for a photo and then toured the new building at 1155 W. Linda Ave.

“We love our new space,” said Executive Director Connie Ambrecht. “I want to especially thank Umatilla Electric Cooperative, Shelco Electric and Noland Door Company. They had a big hand in getting this done.”

Chamber Executive Director Val Hoxie wished Ambrecht and her two other staff members well.

“We want to thank you for inviting us and congratulate you on your new location,” Hoxie said. “We look forward to watching your success for years to come.”

TruCare Pregnancy Clinic provides clients with various free services including pregnancy tests, ultrasound, pregnancy support, after-abortion support, adoption referrals and parental training.

The new location features a reception room, an advocate room where patients can have private conversations with trained staff and an ultrasound room.

Ambrecht said the new location is more comfortable and cozier than the former space on S.W. 11th St.

“It’s about half the size of the old building,” she said. “We’ve trimmed our space, not our services.”
