Cultural coalition seeks scholarship applicants

HERMISTON — The Hermiston Cultural Awareness Coalition announced it is accepting applicants for its 2023 scholarship program. Seniors at Echo, Hermiston, Stanfield and Umatilla high schools are eligible to apply.

Interested applicants can contact their high school counselor to receive a form. Submissions must be postmarked by Friday, Dec. 8.
The scholarship program’s goal is to acknowledge and recognize graduating students who have a desire to create cultural diversity and awareness within their community. The coalition is offering four $1,000 academic awards to be applied to an institution of higher learning.
