Tuesday, Nov. 14
2:29 a.m. A 911 caller at Green Acres RV Park, Irrigon, reported a woman she had a restraining order against was inside the home and removed a number of items.
8:07 a.m. A 911 caller at Bombing Range Road and Wilson Lane, Boardman, reported a coworker threw a hammer and threatened to kill an employee. The caller said the employee was uninjured. The person who threw the hammer was out of a job and off the work site.
8:24 a.m. A caller reported a stray kitten stuck under the house at Southeast Greenwood Street, Irrigon. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office gave the caller the phone number to Fuzz Ball Animal Rescue, Hermiston.
8:52 a.m. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary on Bowman Road, Echo.
9:49 a.m. Umatilla police received a report of a disturbance at the Umatilla High School.
12:03 p.m. A caller reported a domestic disturbance at Kik and Punkin Center roads, Hermiston.
12:20 p.m. A caller reported a broken window at the Fun Fashions Boutique on West Coe Avenue, Stanfield.
1:40 p.m. Hermiston police received a report of an assault in the 400 block of Northeast 10th Street.
4:48 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a dog constantly barking at Southeast 13th Place and 13th Street, Irrigon. A deputy checked it out and did not find a barking dog.
5:11 p.m. A caller on Bridgeport Avenue, Umatilla, reported a relative was verbally abusive and would not leave the residence.
6:09 p.m. Stanfield police received a report about a prowler at Angels Auto Repair on East Page Avenue, Stanfield.
Wednesday, Nov. 15
6:25 a.m. A caller reported graffiti at a new church construction site on Southeast Seventh Street and Utah Avenue, Irrigon.
8:44 a.m. A 911 caller reported a vehicle crashed and rolled on eastbound Interstate 82, Umatilla.
11:54 a.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report of the theft of a utility trailer from a yard on Columbia Lane, Irrigon.
1:08 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a telephone scam involving the theft of $303.94 with cash cards at the Dollar General on Columbia Lane, Irrigon.
3:49 p.m. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a burglary on Northwest Geer Road, Hermiston.
8:35 p.m. A 911 caller reported two juveniles dressed in black had returned to graffiti the neighborhood at Southeast Utah Avenue and First Street, Irrigon.
Thursday, Nov. 16
7:02 a.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report of graffiti on properties in the neighborhood of South First Street, Irrigon.
7:26 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office and Heppner emergency services responded to a caller requesting a welfare check on a confused octogenarian. The person refused to go to a local hospital for a check up.
10:20 p.m. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a vehicle theft at the Vista Park Mobile Home Park, Hermiston. Sheriff’s deputies took a suspect into custody.
Friday, Nov. 17
8 a.m. Stanfield police received a report of a burglary on East Harding Avenue, Stanfield.
2:19 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a resident that a cow carcass in the field behind her home was attracting coyotes at Southwest Nevada Avenue, Irrigon. A sheriff’s deputy contacted the field owner to have the carcass removed.
2:16 p.m. A Simplot employee reported a theft on Umatilla River Road, Umatilla.
4:57 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a home break-in at Southeast Crimson Court, Irrigon.
6:49 p.m. A 911 caller reported gunshots on Chenowith Avenue, Umatilla.
10:08 p.m. A 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance at the Buttercreek Apartments on Southwest 11th Street, Hermiston.
Saturday, Nov. 18
12:45 a.m. A caller reported a prowler on Seventh Street, Umatilla.
11:33 a.m. A resident on Columbia Lane, Irrigon, reported the theft of a number of items from his property and identified a possible suspect. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded but did not locate a suspect.
12:14 p.m. A resident on Columbia Lane, Irrigon, reported someone was hiding in bushes near his residence. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office checked the area but did not see anyone and found no evidence anyone was in the bushes.
8:50 p.m. Two cars crashed at the Irrigon Medical Center on North First Street and Columbia Lane, Irrigon. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office cited one driver for failure to obey a traffic control device.
Sunday, Nov. 19
1:39 a.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office and local emergency services responded to a rollover car crash and fire at Highway 730 and West Eighth Road, Irrigon.
5:27 a.m. Hermiston police received a report of a burglary on the 600 block of Northwest Spruce Street.
7:34 a.m. A 911 caller reported a prowler on East College Street, Echo.
12:39 p.m. A 911 caller reported the theft of a television and that the residence had been rummaged through during a burglary on Columbia Lane, Irrigon.
5:09 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a disturbance at the Love’s Travel Stop and Country Store on Tower Road, Boardman.
Monday, Nov. 20
10:04 a.m. Hermiston police received a report of a burglary on the 1100 block of Northwest Second Street. Police took a report.
10:46 a.m. A caller asked the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to categorize a motorcycle as stolen during a burglary in Lane County. The sheriff’s office opened an investigation.
6:28 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a spouse with a large family on Southeast Kristen Drive, Irrigon, who has been missing since Nov. 15. Sheriff’s deputies advised husband of his options.
9:10 p.m. A 911 caller on Columbia View Northwest, Boardman, reported a friend’s girlfriend was throwing water at him and telling him to leave.
Arrests, citations
Nov. 14
Umatilla police arrested Nathan Francis Martin Scharf, 45, for first-degree criminal mischief (vandalism).
Hermiston police arrested Adalberto Garcia Flores, 28, for unlawful use of a weapon and second-degree disorderly conduct.
Nov. 15
Boardman police arrested Samuel Barrera Martinez, 27, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol).
Nov. 20
The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Emma Mae Kiesser, 23, for unlawful manufacture of a marijuana item, second-degree burglary and first-degree theft.
The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Alberto Torres-Lopez, 45, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol).
Boardman police at 2:03 p.m. received a report of people fighting at Columbia View Apartments. Police arrested three people for third-degree assault: Alex Celestino Avelino, 21, Sebastian Cervantes Avelino and Alejendro Celestino De Los Santos, who police released on his own recognizance.
