MADISON, Wis. — Alex Lindsay, of Lexington, was among the more than 1,300 students to earn degrees in August 2023 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The 2018 Heppner High School graduate is the son of Kimberly and the late Barney Lindsay. He studied at the UW-Madison’s School of Education, receiving a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction.

According to a press release, since the school doesn’t hold commencement ceremonies in August, graduates are invited to participate in the winter commencement ceremony. It is Sunday, Dec. 17, 10 a.m. in The Kohl Center, on the university’s Madison, Wisconsin, campus. For more information, visit commencement.wisc.edu.
