Brittany Mahomes is taking a page out of NFL players’ handbooks and blocking out the outside noise.

Brittany, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, recently shared a sassy response to criticism of her “high horse” attitude during last weekend’s AFC championship game against the Baltimore Ravens.

On Wednesday, Brittany Mahomes posted a cryptic quote on her Instagram Story that read, “I take rumors as a compliment. The fact that you’re bringing my name onto tables I don’t sit at shows your obsession. Stay bothered.”

After the Chiefs’ 17—10 win over the Ravens, a viral TikTok captured Brittany Mahomes’s arguably rude manners to an M&T Bank Stadium employee. Brittany was walking with her husband when she approached a stadium worker and asked, “Where do we go from here?” while twirling her finger. 

One TikTok user commented, “Mahomes wife needs to get off her high horse.” Other viewers of the viral video have since called her “extra” and “a Karen.”

In the past, Brittany Mahomes, along with Patrick’s brother Jackson Mahomes, have been scrutinized for their off-field antics, which have been called a distraction to the Chiefs quarterback’s professional life.

For better or worse, Brittany, Jackson and the rest of Mahomes’s family will continue to linger in the public eye in support of Patrick. Their next appearance will likely take place on the biggest stage as the Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11.
