Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation is seeking nominations for Hermiston’s Distinguished Service Awards ceremony. In its 54th year, the celebration is March 20 at the Hermiston Community Center.

Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity are the topics for the upcoming Eastern Oregon Forum. The program is Tuesday, Feb. 13, 7 p.m. in ST-200 at Blue Mountain Community College, 2411 NW Carden Ave., Pendleton. The cost is $5 at the door; admission is free for students.

The presenters include Robert Theriault, a computer science teacher at Hermiston High School who also instructs courses on cybersecurity at BMCC, and Sergio Ortega, business development lead for state and local government at Amazon Web Services.

Students from Hermiston High School are teaming up to offer Valograms — select from several songs or floral offerings — for Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, Feb. 14. This is a fundraiser for the FFA chapter and choir, and the fee ranges from $5 to $35. To place an order, visit hhs-ffa-sales.square.site.

Also, opening night for “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” is Friday, Feb. 9, 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium, 600 S. First St. The musical also will be staged Saturday, Feb. 10, 2 p.m.; Feb. 16, 7 p.m.; and Feb. 17, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
