UMATILLA — Two Rivers Correctional Institution, 82911 Beach Access Road, Umatilla, hosts a meet-and-greet event Wednesday, Feb. 7, 3-6 p.m.

The open house allows those interested in becoming correctional officers to chat with the staff and complete an application. TRCI is looking to hire correctional officers in Umatilla. Attendees are asked not to wear blue jeans, shorts, camouflage or open-toed shoes. Tours of the facility will be offered.

To be considered, applicants must be 21 or older at the time of application, have a high school diploma or GED, and U.S. citizenship or obtain citizenship within one year. Applicants also must pass a criminal background check, health screening, drug screening and psychological evaluation.

Applicants are asked to bring a valid photo ID to the event.
