HERMISTON — In observance of Lent, St. John’s Episcopal Church and Grace and Mercy Lutheran Church are holding an Ash Wednesday service.

The Imposition of Ashes and Eucharist is Wednesday, Feb. 14, 6:30 p.m. at St. John’s, 665 E. Gladys Ave., Hermiston. Everyone is welcome.

“Lent is traditionally marked with fasting, meditation and prayer,” Rev. Chuck Barnes said.
