A fundraiser featuring a catered meal, live music, raffle items and live/silent auctions will benefit Hermiston Campus Life.

In its sixth year, The Gathering is Feb. 23, 5:30 p.m. at the Hermiston Community Center, 415 S. Highway 395. Tickets are $35 each or a table of eight is $245 via bit.ly/3w160kH.

They’re baaackkk — Hermiston Parks and Recreation is providing another opportunity to unlock an adventure at the Escape Rooms.

Featuring three different skill levels, the activity is Friday, Feb. 16, at the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center, 1705 E. Airport Road, Hermiston. Time slots are 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

A membership drive is underway for the Community Women’s Club of Boardman-Irrigon. Since 1987, the group has promoted a spirit of unity between the two communities by fundraising for educational scholarships and supporting other community service projects.

Area residents can reel in some fun with free fishing during Presidents Day weekend. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife announced that everyone can fish, clam and crab for free on Saturday, Feb. 17, and Sunday, Feb. 18, in Oregon.
