Hermiston library offers free activities

HERMISTON — The Hermiston Public Library features more than just books.
Adult Bingo for Books offers players a chance to win reading materials on Thursday, Feb. 22, 6 p.m. Also, a youth art class will provide instruction on how to draw faces, figures and clothing “with creative flair”: Character Illustration for Teens is Tuesday, Feb. 27, 6 p.m.
For the younger crowd, preschool story time is each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Also, stop by the library for Saturday Kid’s Craft — preschool through fifth grade — each Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m. until supplies last. Young patrons can stay and create or take the supplies home.
