Pursel will host the Silent Book Club on Feb. 25, 2024, at the Hermiston business. The Hermiston City Council on July 8, 2024, voted unanimously to adopt a fee schedule for business licenses. The schedule goes into effect in January 2025.
HERMISTON — Join fellow readers for the Silent Book Club at The Next Chapter Bookstore.
The event is Sunday, Feb. 24, 3-5 p.m. in the Talery Plaza, 1000 S. Highway 395, Suite C, Hermiston. Owner Angela Pursel will kick things off with a 30-minute open discussion with participants sharing about what they are current reading. For the remainder of the time, people can enjoy a quiet time of reading.
