Sentences

The following criminal sentences have been imposed in Umatilla County Circuit Court:

Alexander Villarreal, 22, of Hermiston, pleaded guilty in a 2022 case to six counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor; sentenced to $3,000 in fines.

Danny Allen Bartell, 53, of Hermiston, pleaded guilty in a 2023 case to fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence; sentenced to two years of probation and a $100 fine.

Daniel Joseph Avila, 35, of Eugene, pleaded guilty in a 2023 case to theft of a vehicle and first-degree theft; sentenced to 13 months in the custody of the Oregon Department of Corrections, one year of post-prison supervision and a $200 fine.

Omar Madrigal Leon, 25, of Hermiston, pleaded guilty in a 2023 case to unlawful possession of a firearm; sentenced to one year of probation and a $500 fine.

Scott Raymond Smith, 23, of Pendleton, pleaded guilty in a 2023 case to second-degree disorderly conduct and attempted assault of a public safety officer; sentenced to 130 days incarceration in the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, with credit for time served, and a $100 fine.

Stacey Duane Hetterley, 49, of Athena, pleaded guilty in a 2023 case to driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol) and reckless driving; sentenced to 45 days incarceration in the Umatilla County Jail, one year suspension of his driver’s license and $1,600 in fines.

Christopher Lee Laib, 40, of Pendleton, pleaded guilty in a 2023 case to felony strangulation constituting domestic violence; sentenced to two years of probation and a $200 fine.

The following criminal sentences have been imposed in Morrow County Circuit Court:

Nicholas Ryan Schiller, 30, of Irrigon, pleaded guilty in a 2024 case to felon in possession of a firearm and first-degree criminal mischief; sentenced to 13 months in the custody of the Oregon Department of Corrections and two years of post-prison supervision.
