HERMISTON — No injuries were reported Thursday, Feb. 29, in a shop and trailer fire on North Townsend Road in Hermiston.

Umatilla County Fire District No. 1 was dispatched at 2:46 p.m. to the structure fire. Crews arrived on scene to a shop and a camp trailer on fire with flames and heavy smoke showing.

Crews knocked down flames with Engine 22 and called for multiple water tenders. Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading. The Umatilla Rural Fire Protection District and Echo Fire Department provided assistance.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
