Hermiston Lions seeks scholarship applicants

HERMISTON — The Hermiston Lions Club is accepting applications for its scholarship program, including students from Boardman, Echo, Hermiston, Ione, Irrigon, Stanfield and Umatilla.

A total of four $2,000 scholarships will be awarded in 2024 to graduating high school seniors or returning college students. In addition, those planning to attend a vocational or trade school may apply.

The Hermiston Lions Club supports area youths in their educational pursuits and encourages all eligible students to apply. To request an application, email scholarships@hermistonlionsclub.com. The deadline to apply is April 19.
