Hermiston library celebrates World Water Day

HERMISTON — A program highlighting the importance of water will include demonstrations and information about how everyone can help with the valuable resource.
Geared for students in third through eighth grade, the World Water Day event is Friday, March 22, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hermiston Public Library, 235 E. Gladys Ave. The event coincides with an initiative of the United Nations. UN-Water raises awareness of major water-related issues with the aim of inspiring people to take action to address water and sanitation crises.
