Catholic Daughters seek scholarship applicants

The Catholic Daughters announced the application deadline for its Marilyn Harris Memorial Scholarship program is April 30, 2024.
HERMISTON — Catholic Daughters of America Court No. 1692 is accepting applications from Our Lady of Angels parish for its 2024 Marilyn Harris Memorial Scholarship program.
Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded, including two to graduating seniors and one to a recent high school graduate who is pursuing higher education or attending trade school. Students may apply for multiple years but can only receive a total of two scholarships.
Applications are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the parish office, 565 W. Hermiston Ave. The office is closed from noon to 1 p.m. Also, students can request an application from Delia Fields, vice-regent, via email at dorranfields@gmail.com.
The completed application must be submitted to the office by April 30. Winners will be announced during a mass honoring graduating seniors. For questions, call Fields at 541-571-4219.
