Tuesday, March 19

7:16 a.m. A caller at Bombing Range Road and Strawberry Lane, Lexington, reported someone busted the windshield on a track hoe.

8:41 a.m. A 911 caller at Marina Apartments, Umatilla, reported a domestic disturbance. Police responded and issued a citation.

11:35 a.m. A resident on Washington Street, Umatilla, reported finding two Yorkshire terriers at Pine Street and Powerline Road but then took them to her backyard.

2:48 p.m. A caller at the Pilot Travel Center, Stanfield police received a report from the Pilot Travel Center that a man with a knife threatened someone and then left in a white Freightliner truck.

5:25 p.m. Umatilla police received a complaint on Rio Senda Drive for a restraining order violation.

6:15 p.m. A resident on Kunze Lane, Boardman, reported the neighbor’s cow was in his yard and damaged his garden, then went back to the neighbor’s yard.

8:18 p.m. A 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance on East Elm Avenue in Hermiston.

Wednesday, March 20

3:57 p.m. An employee at Harvest Foods in Umatilla reported someone used drugs in the bathroom. Police took a report.

4:55 p.m. A caller reported her dog jumped out of the back of her pickup at the Heppner High School baseball field.

5:52 p.m. A 911 caller on East Elm Avenue, Hermiston, reported a domestic disturbance.

8:25 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a man attacked a resident on Southeast Kristen Drive, Irrigon. Deputies responded and determined there was an argument.

Thursday, March 21

9:31 a.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a request for the school resource officer in regards to harassment at the Ione Community Charter School.

4:25 p.m. Hermiston police received a report of an assault on the 100 block of Southwest 10th Street.

6:03 p.m. A caller on Northwest Water Street, Heppner, reported someone left a bag with pictures and a note for a person she has a restraining order against. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report.

10:53 p.m. A caller reported hearing gunshots at Idaho Lane and Cedar Road, Irrigon, and seeing a black car speed through the area. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded but did not find anyone suspicious.

11:44 p.m. A resident on Southeast Kirsten Drive, Irrigon, reported two people wearing black, hooded sweatshirts were next to her vehicle, then she heard gunshots and both ran toward the school.

Friday, March 22

12:01 a.m. A 911 caller reported a noise complaint on West Cherry Avenue and Northwest Spruce Street, Hermiston.

7:56 a.m. A caller at Fredrickson Farms, Boardman, reported a male was on their property who earlier asked to use their phone and then stole items and slept overnight in the company’s semitrailer. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded and arrested a 44-year-old man for first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree theft as well as on a parole/probation warrant.

8:22 a.m. A male told local law enforcement he was calling for his mother because a couple of years ago someone abandoned a semitrailer on his mother’s property on North Townsend Road, Hermiston, and she received a citation for it. The caller asked how to get the truck removed from the property.

10:34 a.m. Umatilla police received a report about damage on 18 machines in the laundry room at Tri-Harbor Landing Apartments.

10:47 a.m. Hermiston police received a report of an assault on the 600 block of Southeast Sixth Street.

10:53 a.m. A Heppner resident reported paying more than $700 for a dog in an internet scam.

11:11 a.m. A caller asked to speak to a Hermiston police officer about a person who harassed and threatened her at Walmart on Jan. 24.

4:42 p.m. A resident in Umatilla reported her stepson’s mother in Irrigon was harassing him in person and on the phone.

6:02 p.m. A 911 caller at Diagonal Road and Cowboy Lane, Hermiston, reported a vehicle on fire and fully engulfed. Emergency agencies responded.

6:23 p.m. A 911 caller on East Main Street, Hermiston, reported a domestic disturbance.

6:27 p.m. A 911 caller at Ace Mini Storage, Umatilla, reported a white male in a red car and a Hispanic female in a silver car may have been breaking into storage units.

8:50 p.m. A 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance on North Loop Road, Stanfield.

Saturday, March 23

1:34 a.m. A 911 caller on North Ott Road, Hermiston, reported a domestic disturbance.

2:24 p.m. A resident on Southeast Eighth Street, Irrigon, reported a person in a white Dodge Journey drives past and yells at him.

3:58 p.m. A 911 caller reported a fight at the Crossroads Truck Stop, Umatilla. Police took a report.

9:17 p.m. A caller reported her elderly mother in Heppner was the target of a scam involving satellite TV and her mother did give some of her information.

9:21 p.m. A caller reported a disturbance at the Hermiston Warming Station.

Sunday, March 24

12:10 a.m. Hermiston police received a report of a theft on the 1000 block of South Highway 395. Police took a report.

1:20 a.m. Hermiston police received a report of a burglary on the 1000 block of South Highway 395. Police responded and took a report.

9:36 a.m. A manager at the Dollar General in Irrigon reported a customer assaulted one of the employees and there is video showing what happened. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded and planned to trespass the customer.

1:37 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about a juvenile driving a motorcycle up and down the steps at the Heppner Elementary School, Heppner, and riding in people’s yards. The sheriff’s office was not able to find the rider.

3:41 p.m. Callers reported a vehicle flipped and came to a rest in the median on eastbound Interstate 84 near Boardman. Multiple emergency agencies responded. A person on the vehicle refused an ambulance ride to a local hospital.

Monday, March 25

1:48 a.m. Umatilla police received a complaint about a vehicle theft at the Quality.

6:45 a.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a request to check on a female who was laying by the garbage can at Love’s Travel Stop & County Store, Boardman. The caller said the female went inside the Carl’s Jr. restaurant. Deputies responded but did not find her.

6:50 p.m. A 911 caller reported a vehicle accident at West Highland Avenue and Southwest 23rd Street, Hermiston. Local law enforcement took a report.

11:30 p.m. Umatilla police received a report of a vehicle crash at Ferry Road and Third Street.

Arrests, citations

March 21

Oregon State Police on Highway 74 near milepost 43 arrested Raul Araiza Manuel, 33, for hit-and-run involving property, reckless driving and reckless endangerment of a highway worker.

March 22

The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office cited Benjamin Scott Cook, of Irrigon, for two counts of dog as a public nuisance after a resident on Hoop N Holler Lane reported a dog attacked and injured one of his goats.

The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office on the 77300 block of North Loop Road, Hermiston, arrested Gregorio Toves Torre, 45, for menacing and fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence.

March 23

Hermiston police arrested Enrique Suarez, 20, for aggravated harassment.
