Police log for May 10-13

Friday, May 10

1:49 a.m. A 911 caller reported her husband was driving south on Highway 395 in Stanfield while on drugs.

8:35 a.m. Oregon State Police received a report of a crash of a Chrysler PT Cruiser heading west on Interstate 84 near milepost 158 in Morrow County. The driver, a 32-year-old man from Fairview, fell asleep, and the Cruiser collided with a flatbed car trailer a pickup was hauling. The Cruiser rolled several times and the driver suffered minor injuries; an ambulance took him to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.

12:19 p.m. A motorcyclist reported he was at Toll Rock Road about 3 miles from Highway 207 near Heppner and his motorcycle fell over and he needed help getting it upright.

2:59 p.m. Umatilla police received a report of a domestic disturbance on Barton Loop.

5:55 p.m. A caller reported a male took her gray 2005 Audi from a friend’s residence on Southwest Nevada Avenue in Irrigon. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report for vehicle theft.

9:48 p.m. A resident on Northwest Washington Avenue, Irrigon, reported hearing seven or eight gunshots southeast of his location, possibly near Highway 730. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded but did not find anyone shooting.

11:41 p.m. A caller at Love’s Travel Stop and Country Store, Boardman, reported hearing gunshots. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office checked the area but did not find anyone shooting.

Saturday, May 11

7:56 a.m. A resident on North Main Street, Heppner, reported someone broke a window out of one of his vehicles.

12:36 p.m. A resident of Pioneer Lane, Boardman, reported his daughter took his gray Subaru car and headed toward Hermiston.

3:32 p.m. Hermiston police received a report of an assault on the 1200 block of West Highland Avenue.

6:48 p.m. A 911 caller on East Elm Avenue, Hermiston, reported a domestic disturbance.

10:26 p.m. A caller reported an assault on the 1100 block of South First Street, Hermiston.

Sunday, May 12

1:30 a.m. A caller on Wilson Lane, Boardman, reported hearing eight gunshots every 10-15 minutes west of her location. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office checked the area but found no one shooting.

7:49 a.m. A caller reported the theft of an electric bicycle on East May Street, Heppner.

8:36 a.m. A 911 caller reported a disturbance on Kiwi Court in Umatilla.

2:57 p.m. 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance on Orchard Street in Umatilla.

3:25 p.m. A 911 caller at McNary Market in Umatilla reported three girls were trying to assault her.

10:13 p.m. A caller on Birch Court, Umatilla, complained about noise.

10:58 p.m. A 911 caller complained about noise at Wildwood RV Park in Umatilla.

Monday, May 13

5:30 a.m. A caller at Correa Trucking on Frontage Lane, Hermiston, reported a large German shepherd won’t let her leave her house. The dog did not seem aggressive, she said, but jumped up and almost knocked her over. Local law enforcement returned the dog to its owner.

10:20 a.m. A caller reported someone threw a rock through the window of the Church of the Nazarene on North Gilmore Street in Heppner.

10:40 a.m. A resident on East Highway 730 in Irrigon reported the theft of his silver Honda Fit.

12:30 p.m. Umatilla police received a complaint from a caller on Martin Drive about a male and female screaming at each other.

4:51 p.m. A 911 caller on Cactus Drive in Hermiston reported a domestic disturbance.

7:07 p.m. A woman in Heppner reported a man she blocked on her phone because he harassed he was texting her from a new number.

7:13 p.m. A caller reported two males who live at Columbia View Apartments in Boardman hit his vehicle with rocks. Local law enforcement took a report.

8:16 p.m. A 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance at Coffee Cup Trailer Park in Umatilla.

Arrests, citations

May 11

Boardman police arrested Levis De La Cruz, 22, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol) and on a warrant.

Hermiston police arrested Pete Amaro Hernandez, 72, for menacing and unlawful use of a weapon.

May 12

Umatilla police arrested Jessica Marie Gray, 36, for felon in possession of a weapon.
