Daniel Goytia Llanos, 30, entered the guilty plea Monday, July 1, on one count of first-degree possession of a forged instrument, a Class C felony. In exchange for the guilty plea, he avoided six counts of mail theft in the case.
Boardman police on May 27 arrested Llanos for second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and seven counts of mail theft. A Morrow County grand jury on June 4 indicted Llanos on charges of first-degree possession of forged instrument and six counts of mail theft, all Class C felonies.
According to the indictment, Llanos on May 27 had the forged Social Security card as well as mail belonging to five people and the Oregon Trail Library District.

In exchange for pleading guilty to having the fake Social Security card, the state dismissed the mail theft charges.
Court records show Circuit Judge Jon Lieuallen sentenced Llanos to 18 months of probation, and the jail time is a condition of that probation. Per the judge’s sentence, Llanos may receive credit for time served and the local supervisory authority may consider him for alternatives to jail.
