Letter: Showing appreciation for firefighters

Dear firefighters: Just wanted to let you know, we see you, we really do! We are so grateful in every way.

We see you every morning as you leave with faces bright and we see you every evening returning from the fight. We see you worn and battered, tattered and burnt from sun, dirty faces still hopeful as you plan the next day’s run. Then morning comes and once again you are out there driving past, with faces all bright again ready for the task.

We see you, we really see you as you pass our home each day and we couldn’t be more grateful for the sacrifice you’ve made.

Just know we really see you as you keep our home so safe and we can’t express in words alone the thankfulness we have.
