Teen trip features frightful fun at Scarywood Theme Park

ATHOL, Idaho — Local youths can get their scare on during a Teen Adventure Trip to Scarywood Theme Park Haunted Nights.
North Idaho’s Silverwood Theme Park features a month of screams as it dresses up for Halloween Sept. 27 through Nov. 2. Hermiston Parks and Recreation is coordinating the frightfully fun trip for students in sixth through 12th grade.
The trip includes bus transportation, a sack lunch and entry into the theme park. The bus departs Oct. 10, 4 p.m. from the Hermiston Community Center and will return at approximately 3 a.m. on Oct. 11. Advance registration is required. The cost is $62 for Hermiston residents and $74.40 for non-residents.
