Each print edition of the East Oregonian contains our magazine, Go! Eastern Oregon — about, of course, happenings and places to check out in Eastern Oregon.

The magazine also has its own website: goeasternoregon.com.

In addition to Go!, we have special sections. In late August we published the fall hunting preview, later this fall we’ll have our wrap up of the agricultural season.

This past edition of the EO also had the “Salute to Our Local Firefighters.” The 24-page section puts faces to names of local first responders working and volunteering in fire departments and fire districts.

I guess the point is, in almost every edition of the EO, there’s more than just the newspaper. Several of these sections are extensions of our reporting. Without a special section on hunting, for example, we would not have room in print for all content. We also are putting these reports and features online.

And you always can find more news and content on our websites than we’ll ever have space for on the printed page. Please check those out: East Oregonian, Baker City Herald, Blue Mountain Eagle, Hermiston Herald, The Observer and the Wallowa County Chieftain.
