ECHO — The Echo Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch is going to the dogs during a special event to benefit the Pendleton Animal Welfare Shelter.

Dog Days in the Maze is Sunday, Oct. 20, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 300 N. Dupont St. Admission is $10 for people and $2 for pooches, which will be donated to PAWS. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome all day.

Representatives from PAWS will be on hand from noon to 3 p.m. A dog costume contest starts at 12:30 p.m. Also, visitors are encouraged to fetch an item from the PAWS wish list to donate. To view the list, visit www.pendletonpaws.org and click on “Ways to Donate.”
