BMCC Rodeo Boosters wrangle in NFR Watch Party

- Bareback rider R.C. Landingham rides Born Fearless to win on Aug. 12, 2022, at the Farm-City Pro Rodeo in Hermiston. Landingham, a Blue Mountain Community College rodeo team alumni and five-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier donated items for the silent auction during the NFR Watch Party Dec. 14, 2024, in the Roy Raley Room at the Pendleton Round-Up Grounds. Money raised benefits the BMCC rodeo team.
PENDLETON — Catch the final round of the National Finals Rodeo with the Blue Mountain Community College Rodeo Boosters. The volunteer group provides support to the BMCC rodeo team by funding scholarships and providing financial assistance.
In its second year, the all-ages NFR Watch Party is Saturday, Dec. 14, 4:30-10 p.m. in the Roy Raley Room at the Pendleton Round-Up Grounds, 1205 SW Court Ave. Watch the rodeo action on multiple screens while supporting the BMCC rodeo team.
Mac’s Bar and Grill will serve up hors d’oeuvres, drinks and music. Also, bid on silent auction items, including canvas images from Emma Folz Photography, swag from NFR qualifier R.C. Landingham (a BMCC rodeo team alumni), a SAGE Center gift basket and fringed leather-tooled bag.
Tickets are $25 for ages 13 and up or $15 for kids 12 and under via Simpletix at bit.ly/4g6gu4p. Rebecca Manning, BMCC Rodeo Boosters president, encourages people to purchase tickets in advance — they are $5 more at the door.
