- U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden, left, addresses questions Aug. 24, 2024, during his town hall in Enterprise. The senator is holding an online, open-to-all town hall March 4, 2025, for Oregonians.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Oregon’s senior U.S. senator is co-hosting a live on-line town hall Tuesday night, March 4, to offer Oregonians the opportunity to ask questions, share their ideas and offer their views during President Donald Trump’s address to Congress.
“In this unprecedented time in American history, my top priority is making sure Oregonians from every corner of our state can keep weighing in directly with me,” Wyden said in the announcement.
He had held 1,105 open-to-all town halls throughout Oregon in fulfillment of his promise to hold at least one town hall each year in each of the state’s 36 counties. Rather than attend the president’s address, Wyden said he wants to hear from Oregonians.
“That’s been my priority at more than 1,100 town meetings,” he said. “And there’s no reason to make different choices this Tuesday.”
Wyden is holding the event with People’s Town Hall. The on-line town hall begins at 6 p.m. and is viewable here on Facebook Live. Oregonians who want to ask a question during the virtual town hall can submit their questions in advance here.
