Program offers recreation access to Boardman seniors

BOARDMAN — Local seniors living on a tight budget are invited to apply for a Boardman Senior Healthy Living Scholarship to help pay for membership at the Boardman Pool & Recreation Center.
According to the Boardman Senior Center and Boardman Park & Recreation District, the program’s purpose is to reduce possible barriers for seniors to engage in physical exercise and healthy activities. Funding is provided through ChangeX , a program created by Amazon Web Services.
