PORTLAND — The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has postponed a public hearing scheduled for Monday, April 21, for proposed water quality permits for three dams and locks on the Columbia River.
The hearing will be rescheduled soon, although the date hasn’t been set, said Antony Sparrow, public affairs specialist for the agency.
The delay is due to a cyberattack on the DEQ earlier this month, according to the agency.
The public hearing involves proposed water quality permits for the Bonneville Dam and lock near Cascade Locks, John Day Dam near The Dalles, and McNary Dam and lock near Umatilla.
