HERMISTON — One person was injured in a three-vehicle collision Friday, Jan. 30, in Hermiston.

Umatilla County Fire District No. 1 responded around 3:15 p.m. to the scene on the corner of Highway 395 and Bensel Road.

According to the fire district, the crash occurred at the edge of the district’s territory line, prompting the Umatilla Rural Fire Protection District to respond as well.

Fire district paramedics provided medical care and transported one occupant to a local hospital. No other injuries were reported.

The Oregon Department of Transportation, the Hermiston Police Department and the Oregon State Police provided assistance on the scene.
