A 1956 Ford F-100 owned by Derek Harrington can be seen in the hubcap of the 1936 Buick Business Coupe owned by James and Frances Kosko. The Hermiston Classics Car Club hosted the 24th annual event July 13 at McKenzie Park.

A total of 137 vehicles glistened in the sun as the Hermiston Classics Car Club hosted the Cool Rides Car Show. In its 24th year, the event was held July 13 at McKenzie Park in Hermiston.

The car club meets the first Friday of each month — usually at Desert Lanes, 1545 N. First St. Also, during the summer months, group members hang out on Friday nights from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Les Schwab Tire Center, 830 N. First St.
