Tuesday, July 12

10:17 a.m. — A caller at Port View Apartments, 320 Columbia Ave. N.E., Boardman, reported a 21-year-old female was suffering an allergic reaction. Boardman emergency services responded.

11:52 a.m. — Umatilla police initiated activity for graffiti on Eighth Street.

12:33 p.m. — A Hermiston resident reported she received a scam check for $3,550 for puppies she is selling. She asked to speak to an officer.

10:17 p.m. — Stanfield police responded to South Main Street on a report of a domestic disturbance involving a husband breaking a broom and causing a piece to hit his wife in the head and make her bleed. The woman declined medical attention.

11:06 p.m. — A 911 caller reported the theft of a vehicle on North First Street, Hermiston.

Wednesday, July 13

6:07 a.m. — A caller in Boardman reported she was checking Facebook and found what she believed was a suicide note. Law enforcement took a report.

12:08 p.m. — A caller on North First Street, Hermiston, reported her two daughters were in a drive-thru the previous night around 11 p.m., when a girl who was trying to fight her daughters arrived. The girl brought her aunt with her, the caller reported, and they were both yelling and cursing at her daughters and threatened “to run them over with her truck.” The caller asked what her options are.

6:34 p.m. — A caller reported the theft of her purse while her vehicle was at the Shell Station at 300 S.E. Highway 730, Irrigon.

Thursday, July 14

8:34 a.m. — A caller in Heppner reported someone used her credit card for a bogus $5 purchase and tried to use it again for a $187 purchase. She said she canceled the card. Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report.

11:16 a.m. — Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Californian Lane, Irrigon, about a wife abusing her husband and pushing people.

2:06 p.m. — Local emergency services responded to Highway 207 in Lexington for a vehicle that crashed. One person refused an ambulance ride to a hospital.

2:43 p.m. — A caller asked emergency medical services to check on the welfare of a child in a vehicle leaving Boardman and entering Interstate 84 westbound because of a domestic disturbance in the vehicle.

7:31 p.m. — A caller reported six people fighting at the Boardman Splash Pad on Front Street Northeast, Boardman. Police responded and took a report.

7:58 p.m. — A resident on Southwest Wyoming Avenue, Irrigon, reported his dog killed his neighbor’s chickens.

9:32 p.m. — A 911 caller at Wildcat Electric, LLC, 32224 Baxter Road, Hermiston, reported a grass fire. Emergency agencies responded.

Friday, July 15

7:19 a.m. — A resident on Magic Garden Lane, Irrigon, reported her neighbor’s two pit bull dogs were attacking her horses. The dogs were trying to bite the horses, and the horses were trying to kick the dogs. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded and spoke to the owners of the horses and dogs.

9:17 a.m. — A resident on Marshall Loop, Boardman, reported the neighbor’s pit bull dog knocked down her husband, causing him back pain and bleeding in the mouth. Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded and issued a citation to the dog owner.

10:12 a.m. — A 911 caller at Triple M Truck & Equipment, 77765 Westland Road, Hermiston, reported a school bus on fire. Emergency agencies responded.

12:01 p.m. — An Irrigon resident reported a dog at Southeast 13th Street and Idaho Avenue jumped the fence and chased him to his house. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded and cited the owner of the dog.

2:45 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 200 block of North First Street on a report of an assault.

3:27 p.m. — A 911 caller at Crossroads Truck Stop, 2020 Highway 730, Umatilla, reported the building behind the truck stop was “fully engulfed” in flames. Emergency agencies responded.

6:08 p.m. — A person at the Irrigon Shell Station, 300 S.E. Highway 730, waived down a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy and reported the theft of a vehicle. The deputy took a report.

Saturday, July 16

11:05 a.m. — Hermiston police received a report of child abuse/neglect.

2:45 p.m. —Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to North First Street, Hermiston, on a report of an assault.

11:49 p.m. — A resident on Anderson Road, Boardman, reported his friend was at his house and stealing items. Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded and found the caller was “highly intoxicated” and there was no crime.

Sunday, July 17

12:00 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to West Ridgeway Avenue on a report of an assault.

12:49 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 700 block of West Ridgeway Avenue on a report of an assault.

3:07 a.m. — Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to Quiggle Lane, Hermiston, on a report of an assault.

3:37 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 1200 block of West Madrona Avenue for a call about a burglary

2:09 p.m. — A caller reported a deer that may have chronic wasting disease was on his property off Highway 207, Heppner. Morrow County dispatch notified the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.

2:52 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to Econo Lodge, 1481 Sixth St., Umatilla, on a report of an assault.

3:26 p.m. — A 911 caller at Umatilla Wildlife Refuge, on Ferry Road and Third Street, Umatilla, reported someone had suffered a possible broken arm/broken shoulder. Emergency agencies responded.

Monday, July 18

8:12 a.m. — A caller on Coyote Lane, Heppner, reported someone was breaking into their 1976 pull-behind camper.

8:36 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 400 block of Northeast 10th Street on a burglary call. Police took a report.

10:27 a.m. — A caller on Rio Senda Drive and Chenowith Avenue, Umatilla, reported that last night illegal fireworks were being set off two streets over from their home and the debris was falling on their roof.

3:59 p.m. — A 911 caller reported a fight on West Hermiston Avenue involving a male with black, braided hair and wearing a black shirt and denim pants.

4:05 p.m. — A resident at Oregon Trail RV Park, N.E. Washington Ave., Irrigon, reported the black and white dog that starts fights with her dog returned, and she keeps her dog on a leash. She asked for the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to contact her about this. The sheriff’s office advised her the owners of the dog could receive citations if the dog is running loose.

Arrests, citations

July 12

Umatilla police arrested Jose Lepe Jr., 30, for interfering with making a report, harassment, aggravated harassment (a felony) and a warrant for failure to appear.

July 14

Boardman police arrested Neptali Anchez Gomez, 30, for driving under the influence of intoxicants and on warrants.

July 16

Hermiston police arrested Leonicio Isaac Garza, 39, for four counts of fourth-degree assault.
