Soroptimist International of the Greater Hermiston Area is seeking applicants for two financial grants to women in our area that are enrolled in or have been accepted into a post high school vocational or undergraduate degree program.

The grants are for $1,000 and $500.

Applications must be submitted by Nov. 15. Applicants must provide the main financial support for themselves and their dependents, be able to show financial need, and provide two non-family references with their application.

These awards are part of the “Live Your Dream” Education and Training Awards for Women sponsored by the Soroptimist International of the Americas.

The $1,000 award recipient becomes eligible for additional monetary awards from the regional and federation levels of Soroptimist.
