Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Nancy Cardenas and I’m an Autobody & Paint Tech at Wares Autobody.

Where did you grow up? When did you come to Hermiston?

I was born and raised in Hermiston.

What are a few of your hobbies?

My hobbies include going snowboarding, traveling and modifying my cars.

How do you spend your free time?

I love spending time with my family, going to drift events or doing anything car related and rollerblading.

How would you describe yourself?

Quiet until you get to know me, hardworking, perfectionist, caring and compassionate.

What is something you’re passionate about?

I’m extremely passionate about the autobody industry, and always trying to learn something new.

What are a few of your proudest accomplishments?

A personal accomplishment would have to be overcoming my illness in high school, and going on to win the cross-country state title in 2008. Also finding a job I’m extremely passionate about has been one of my greatest feats.

What do you like most about the community you live in?

I like how supportive and uplifting the community is when people who are going through difficult times need it the most.
