When and why did you move to Umatilla?

I opened my business in November of 2017 and commuted for one and a half years. I loved the people and community so I moved here in July of 2019. It was a really nice to return to wholesome and small town atmosphere!

Where is your favorite place to eat in Umatilla?

Besides my own place (Rae’s Dayz), I would have to say Java Junkies. I love their breakfast sandwiches.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love spending time with loved ones, camping and driving my convertible.

The Bible … seriously.

Egypt

What is the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you?

People mistaking me for another person

What is one of your goals for the next 12 months?

My goal is to get out of this COVID and return to somewhat normal life.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Leaving my 20-year career behind and opening my restaurant in 2017, and then my donut shop next door in September 2020. I absolutely love our area here and the people are phenomenal.
