‘Tis the season for holiday bazaars

EASTERN OREGON — Holiday bazaars are planned throughout the region just in time to find unique gift items for Christmas. Here are details about some upcoming events in Umatilla and Morrow counties:
HERMISTON
Presbyterian Church Bazaar
It is Friday, Nov. 17, 5-8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 18, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church, 1005 S.E. Ninth St. It includes a Country Kitchen with jellies, homemade treats and canned goods, as well as holiday gifts. (541-567-9642, rebrand.ly/6b5hezf).
Hermiston Parks & Recreation Bazaars
A trio of Christmas Bazaars at three locations — all on Saturday, Nov. 25, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Check out the wares of local vendors at Harkenrider Senior Activity Center, 255 N.E. Christmas Market
Back for a second year, the Hermiston Christian School’s event is Saturday, Dec. 2, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1825 W. Christmas Merry Market
Returning for its fifth holiday season, the Christmas Merry Market is Friday, Dec. 15, 5-8 p.m. and Dec. 16, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Arc Building, 215 W. Orchard Ave. It features more than 20 high-end vendors. (541-571-5691, lhamblin@eotnet.net).
BOARDMAN
Winter Market
The Winter Market returns to the SAGE Center with a two-day event at 101 Olson Road. Ladies Night is Friday, No. 17, 6-8 p.m. In addition to vendor shopping, women can catch up with friends with wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres.
The market opens to the general public on Saturday, Nov. 18, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shoppers can also enjoy coffee from Boardman Jumpstart Java, and potato products from the Lamb Weston Fry Truck. Sam Boardman Holiday Market
The Parent Teacher Organization of Sam Boardman Elementary School is hosting its inaugural Holiday Market. It is Saturday, Dec. 9, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the school, 301 S.W. Wilson Lane. (sbepto2023@gmail.com, bit.ly/47iZcMI).
ECHO
Echo Church Christmas Bazaar
The Echo Community Church’s annual bazaar is Saturday, Dec. 2, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church’s basement, 21 N. Bonanza St. (541-376-8108).
Echo Christmas Market
Downtown Echo is the place to be on Saturday, Dec. 2 as Wild Bleu Yonder presents the fifth annual Echo Christmas Market. The event, which features two dozen vendors, runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Main Street. (541-571-0080, www.wildbleuyonder.com).
IRRIGON
Irrigon Holiday Craft Bazaar
The event is Sunday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Irrigon Plaza Event Center, 500 NE Main Ave. Cookie decorating with Santa Claus runs from 2-4 p.m. (541-626-2045).
LEXINGTON
Holly Rebekah Christmas Bazaar

STANFIELD
Kids Kraft Bazaar
A bazaar featuring items made by children and youths is Saturday, Dec. 2, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Stanfield Community Center, 225 Roosevelt Ave. Vendors ages 18 and under can reserve a spot by contacting the Stanfield Public Library (180 W. Coe Ave., 541-449-1254).
Baptist Church Bazaar
The Stanfield Baptist Church’s second annual Christmas Bazaar is Saturday, Dec. 2, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 310 N.E. Wheeler Ave. In addition to vendor booths, breakfast, lunch and goodies are available by donating to the Women’s Ministry. (541-449-3313).
