Tuesday, Nov. 7

10:03 a.m. A caller requested a welfare check on her neighbor at East Third Street, Ione. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office made phone contact and the neighbor was fine.

10:41 a.m. A caller requested the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office make a welfare check on her relative at Northwest Tumbleweed Boulevard after hospital informed her it was unable to contact him. A deputy made contact, and the man said he would contact his daughter.

2:11 p.m. Staff at St. Patrick’s Senior Center, Heppner, reported flooding in the basement. The Heppner Fire Department responded.

5:12 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle frequently parking after dark in a new housing development on Southeast Division Street and Southeast Kristen Drive, Irrigon. A deputy issued a citation.

5:51 p.m. A caller in Irrigon reported a roommate was making harassing calls to her relative in Union. A Morrow County Sheriff’s deputy issued a warning to the roommate for telephonic harassment.

7:13 p.m. A 911 caller reported a missing 2011 Chevrolet Malibu vehicle at a friend’s house at Depot Lane and Wagon Wheel Loop, Irrigon. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy advised the caller to report the vehicle as stolen.

Wednesday, Nov. 8

5:33 a.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a friend who was having domestic problems with her ex-partner at Green Acres RV Park, Irrigon.

10:44 a.m. Stanfield police received a complaint of various code enforcement issues at South Dunne Street.

12:45 p.m. A caller reported someone cut the telephone line to the Morrow County Museum, Heppner.

12:45 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a male choking someone in the back seat of a car on eastbound Interstate 84, Boardman. The sheriff’s office responded but was unable to locate vehicle. Local emergency services also responded.

2:39 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a request for assistance with a wounded coyote in a pasture on Wilson Lane, Boardman.

2:47 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office assisted a resident on Southeast Alfalfa Street, Heppner, with mouse traps and provided phone numbers to exterminators.

4:43 p.m. A caller reported an assault on the 300 block of East Catherine Avenue, Hermiston.

Thursday, Nov. 9

10:45 a.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about a 17-year-old male harassing a 12-year-old girl at the Heppner High School, Heppner.

11:47 a.m. A caller reported a salesman refused to leave a woman’s residence on East Second Street, Ione.

12:10 p.m. Heppner residents requested the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office move the parole and probation van to assist with setting up the state championship sign by the fire station.

12:27 p.m. A hunter reported losing a rifle near a guard station on the Forest Service road at Tupper Lane, Heppner.

12:35 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office along with multiple local area emergency services responded to a structure fire on Third Street, Heppner.

12:58 p.m. Hermiston police took a report of graffiti along the alley at West Locust Avenue.

2:25 p.m. A caller reported a burglary on North First Place, Hermiston.

7:41 p.m. A 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance on Southwest 11th Street, Hermiston.

7:45 p.m. The Hermiston police received a report of a domestic disturbance on Southwest 11th Street.

7:53 p.m. A caller reported a grass fire at Southwest Nevada Avenue, Irrigon. The Irrigon Fire Department responded and doused the blaze.

Friday, Nov. 10

9:26 a.m. A resident on Northeast Gilmore Street, Heppner, reported a vacuum salesman scammed them. He asked for contact from a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy.

12:26 p.m. A resident on Northeast First Street, Irrigon, asked to talk with a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy about goats that were on his property. He said he wanted the sheriff’s office to contact a neighbor who lets the animals run free.

3:47 p.m. A caller reported someone kicked in the backdoor of his cabin on Western Route Road, Heppner, and his trail cams are missing. He asked the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to send a deputy to the cabin.

4:46 p.m. A resident on Southeast 13th Place, Irrigon, called 911 to report her ex-boyfriend was trying to break into her home. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded but did not find the crisis.

5:26 p.m. A resident on Linden Way, Heppner, reported someone broke into her home and the whole place is a mess.

Saturday, Nov. 11

12:43 a.m. A caller reported receiving images from a resident in Irrigon who was committing self harm and threatening more. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy made contact with the subject, who advised she was not going to take her own life.

7:59 a.m. A hunter on Forest Service Road 220 in the Heppner area reported she believed she shot a spike antler elk, but it was not. She asked to speak to law enforcement.

1:58 p.m. An Irrigon resident asked to speak to someone with the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office about what to do if the Israeli flag he flies aggravates someone.

8:20 p.m. A caller at Riverview Mobile Court, Irrigon, reported a man in a white car was spying on her and following her. She said she could not see him now but she was scared

Sunday, Nov. 12

1:!3 p.m. Hermiston police received a report of a burglary on the 800 block of West Juniper Avenue. Police took a report.

4:17 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report of animal cruelty and neglect on Highway 74, Lexington.

8:59 p.m. A caller reported Irrigon residents were causing trouble at West Willow View Drive, Heppner. Morrow County sheriff’s deputies were unable to locate any problem.

11:11 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report that a drunk husband assaulted his wife at Wagon Wheel Loop, Irrigon. A deputy separated the couple.

Monday, Nov. 13

11:46 a.m. Stanfield police received a report of fraud that occurred on Jason Avenue.

10:09 p.m. A 911 caller reported gunshots on Seventh Street, Umatilla.

Arrests, citations

Nov. 10

The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Matthew Thomas Blackmarr, 44, for domestic violence counts of second-degree assault, harassment, strangulation and menacing and for second-degree theft.

The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Trevor Lee Gilman, 37, for first-degree criminal mischief (vandalism)

The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Laura Annette Renz, 51, for first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Nov. 11

Emergency services in Morrow County at 8:58 p.m. received a report of a crash on Highway 730 in Irrigon between a vehicle and a semitrailer. People involved declined ambulance rides. The sheriff’s office arrested Andrelle Jahmal Crawford for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Nov. 13

Stanfield police arrested Daniel Martinez, 42, for assault of a public safety officer, second-degree criminal mischief (vandalism), resisting arrest and second-degree disorderly conduct.
