Local students to receive state FFA honor

More than a dozen students from the region are among the 324 Oregon FFA members who will receive the Oregon FFA State Degree.

The students will be recognized during the Third General Session of the 95th Oregon FFA State Convention on March 17, 7 p.m. at the Deschutes Fair & Expo Center, in Redmond. Local students include:

HERMISTON — Laura Meyers, Jace Wallace.

BOARDMAN — Cynthia Gonzalez, Perla Rodriguez-Coria.

ECHO — Riley Hampton, Taylor Hoffman, Mason Murdock, McKenzie Rose, Lillian Wallis.

HEPPNER — Paul Lindsey, Kathrine Wilson.

IRRIGON — Caren Cardenas, Klarisza Gomez, Leah Mueller.
