Booster Bash raises $40K for Riverside students

BOARDMAN — The annual Booster Bash to support Riverside High School students delivered big — bringing in more than $40,000.

According to a press release, the donations will help support educational and athletic programs at the school.
The event March 9 at the Port of Morrow Riverfront Center drew a crowd of 250. Event sponsors included the Port of Morrow, Tillamook County Creamery Association, Beef NW, Lamb Weston and Threemile Canyon Farms.
In addition, numerous individuals, businesses and groups provided items for the auctions and raffles.

Riverside High School Booster Club President Emerald Lantis expressed gratitude for all the donations and said the organizing committee did a fantastic job in coordinating the event. RHS Principal Principal John Christy agreed, saying the Booster Bash exhibited a collaborative spirit and generosity by the sponsors, community members and volunteers.
“This achievement exemplifies the strength of our community and its unwavering commitment to investing in the future of our students,” he said. “Together, we are working to create opportunities that will shape the trajectory of countless lives, instilling a sense of purpose and possibility in each and every student.”
Coaches, advisers and teachers may apply for funds from the Booster Club. Applications are available at the school office.
