Tuesday, April 9
9:06 a.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about the theft of tires from the back of a pickup at St. Patrick’s Senior Center, Heppner. The sheriff’s office took a report.
12:40 p.m. A 911 caller at the Tri-Harbor Landing Apartments, Umatilla, reported a domestic disturbance. Police responded and issued a citation.
3 p.m. A Hermiston resident told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office someone has had their vehicle for more than a year and has yet to return it.
8:35 p.m. Hermiston police received a report of an assault on the 100 block of Southwest 10th Street.
Wednesday, April 10
6:19 a.m. A caller reported a malnourished horse without food or water on Highway 74 in Heppner. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office made contact with the caller.
3 p.m. A 911 caller reported an 86-year-old man pulled over in a black Chevrolet pickup on Highway 730, Umatilla, because he may have been suffering a heart attack.
7:25 p.m. A resident on Southeast Fourth Street, Irrigon, reported she is moving and believed someone broke into the residence. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded and took a report.
8:35 p.m. Hermiston police received a report of an assault on the 100 block of Southwest 10th Street.
Thursday, April 11
6:55 a.m. A resident in Irrigon reported a female was harassing him and trying to extort $500 from him or she would tell the FBI he raped her. He said he never met the female in person. He said they met on the video hosting service TikTok and have texted each other. He said he would like to speak with a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy.
9:03 a.m. Hermiston police handled a situation of a minor in possession of alcohol and/or tobacco.
11:46 a.m. A resident on Baxter Road, Hermiston, reported two black cows without ear tags were on her property and she did not know who owned them.
12:11 p.m. Hermiston police handled a situation of a minor in possession of alcohol and/or tobacco.
2:29 p.m. A caller asked the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to check on her friend in Ione after she texted that her son was intoxicated and she was afraid. The sheriff’s office responded and everything was fine.
3:56 p.m. A caller on Pheasant Ridge Street, Umatilla, reported a man threw drinks and a bottle at two relatives.
5:37 p.m. A resident at Green Acres RV Park, Irrigon, asked the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to arrest her son, who is on probation, because he “just destroyed their trailer” and destroyed a new TV.
6 p.m. An Irrigon resident on Southeast Park Place reported her neighbor called and said her two sons were in a fight with a teen and a 12-year-old.
7:20 p.m. Hermiston police received a 911 report from on North First Street that a person in a Dodge Ram pulled a gun on someone.
9:01 p.m. A 911 caller on South First Street, Hermiston, reported their neighbor’s tires were slashed and someone chased a possible culprit into the Safeway parking lot.
9:50 p.m. Hermiston police received a criminal mischief complaint about a location on West Beebe Avenue. Police took a report.
10:51 p.m. A 911 caller reported he was staying with a man at Maple Crest Apartments, Boardman, and the man was drunk and hit him.
11:14 p.m. A 911 caller at Columbia Crest Apartments, Umatilla, reported a person armed with a gun.
Friday, April 12
3:55 a.m. Umatilla police found graffiti at westbound Interstate 82 and Third Street.
9:48 a.m. A woman told the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office an ex-employee sent threatening text messages and showed up at job sites in Ione and Boardman taking pictures. She asked to speak to a deputy about options.
12:40 p.m. A 911 caller reported a restraining order violation on J Street, Umatilla.
3:09 p.m. A 911 caller at the Shell station in Irrigon reported a female was preventing a male from leaving his vehicle.
3:43 p.m. Stanfield police received a report of a domestic disturbance at the Stanfield RV Park.
4:05 p.m. A 911 caller reported someone was shooting a rifle near the upper end of Willow Creek Reservoir, Heppner.
4:24 p.m. A mother at the Irrigon Skate Park reported a group of boys shot her 10-year-old daughter with a BB gun, and she was getting ready to go back to the park to find them. She said her daughter had marks on her chest and face but did not need medical attention.
6:26 p.m. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an armed person at West Wallace and South Washington street, Weston.
7:03 p.m. Umatilla police received a report of a vehicle theft in Wenatchee Street.
Saturday, April 13
7:08 a.m. A 911 caller reported a disturbance at Rae’s Dayz Diner and Cakery, Umatilla.
7:22 a.m. Umatilla police received a complaint about a restraining order violation. Police took a report.
11:18 a.m. A caller reported an assault on the 1200 block of West Highland Avenue, Hermiston. Police took a report.
12:20 p.m. A 911 caller reported two females in a blue GMC Yukon broke into a house on East Third Street, Ione. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded and determined this was a civil matter.
12:46 p.m. Hermiston police received a report of a burglary on the 600 block of Southwest Ninth Street.
2:28 p.m. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy at Hinton Street and Linden Way, Heppner, issued a citation for a dog as a public nuisance.
5:59 p.m. A caller reported he was the victim of an assault on Short Road, Irrigon. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded.
6:32 p.m. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about drug activity on South Fifth Street, Athena.
7:40 p.m. A caller reported an armed person on El Monte Street, Umatilla.
9:24 p.m. A 911 caller reported a juvenile female wearing all black was intoxicated and yelling at the front of the Heppner Market Fresh in Heppner. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded but did not find the juvenile.
11:09 p.m. A resident on Northwest Oregon Avenue, Irrigon, reported her neighbor had music “super loud” since 6 p.m. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded.
Sunday, April 14
2:17 a.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from Love’s Travel Stop and County Store, Boardman, about a group of rowdy teens who may be intoxicated in the lobby. A sheriff’s deputy responded.
2:46 p.m. A 911 caller on Northwest Gale Street, Heppner, reported a drunk teenager assaulted him.
7:51 p.m. A 911 caller reported an assault at Short Stop No. 1 on East Punkin Center Road, Hermiston.
8:04 p.m. A resident on Southwest Second Street, Irrigon, reported her neighbors were shooting guns and scaring her animals. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded.
10:13 p.m. A caller reported he was the victim of an assault at the Shell station in Irrigon. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report.
Monday, April 15
4:15 p.m. Hermiston police received a report of an assault on the 400 block of Northeast 10th Street.
4:30 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report that two males were on the dock at the Willow Creek Reservoir, Heppner, when the dock floated away. The sheriff’s office responded and notified the Corps of Engineers.
5:36 p.m. A resident in Irrigon reported a male she has a restraining order against continues to call and text her. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report.
6:27 p.m. A 911 caller reported a vehicle collision at Space Age Fuel, Hermiston. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report.
6:36 p.m. Hermiston police received a report of an assault on the 100 block of East Main Street. Police took a report.
9:53 p.m. A 911 caller reported a disturbance at Franco’s Auto Body in Hermiston. A crisis team responded.
Arrests, citations
April 9
Hermiston police arrested Isaiah Celso Stafford, 31, for first-degree criminal mistreatment, fourth-degree assault and harassment.
April 10
The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Victor S. Arteaga Castillo, 29, for felony fleeing.
Hermiston police arrested David William Vassey, 64, for first-degree theft.
The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office at 9:13 p.m. received a 911 call from Columbia River Ranch, Boardman, for a client who attacked staff. The sheriff’s office responded and arrested Rachel Lauren Zuhl, 37, for fourth-degree assault.
April 11
Hermiston police arrested Mitchell Charles Harmon, 30, for misuse of 911.
April 13
Boardman police arrested Ricardo Munoz Rosales, 22, for first-degree theft and unlawful possession of a firearm, and arrested Carlos Ibarra Burgos, 21, for theft by receiving and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Hermiston police arrested Eduardo Acosta, 40, for attempted delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of meth, manufacture/delivery of a federally controlled substance, possession of a federally controlled substance, felon in possession of a weapon and on a warrant for failure to appear.
Hermiston police arrested Guerrero Gastelum Gutierrez for driving under the influence of intoxicants (controlled substance).
April 14
The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office on the 32300 block of Benjamin Lane, Hermiston, arrested Brandon James Linam, 34, for fourth-degree assault and third-degree theft.
Hermiston police arrested Jordan Richard Horning, 26, for vehicle theft and a restraining order violation.
April 15
The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office on the 32300 block of Benjamin Lane, Hermiston, arrested Brandon James Linam, 34, for felony fleeing.
