Glenda J. Archibald Davis
Glenda J. Archibald David died Friday, Sept. 20. She was raised on a farm in Genesee, Idaho, and graduated from high school in 1953.
She married Harold Samu in 1954 and later divorced.
She met Thurman L. Davis and was married in 1971 at Dawson Creek, B.C. They lived in Alaska for several years, as well as Lewiston, before moving to Hermiston.
Glenda drove school buses for school districts in Clarkston, Wash., Pasco, Wash., and Hermiston from 1984 to 2001.
She enjoyed spending time with her husband, traveling and also hunting, fishing and camping with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Thurman Davis of Hermiston; daughters Roni Faling of Lewiston, Idaho, and Kelly Morris of Kennewick, Wash.; sons Darwin Samu of Seattle, Daniel Davis of Hermiston, and Jeff Davis of Anchorage, Alaska; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
