Tuesday, May 7

8:15 a.m. A caller on Southeast Utah Avenue, Irrigon, complained about the noise from a front loader driving up and down the road.

8:31 a.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about the driver of a front loader at Southeast Seventh Street and East Highway 730, Irrigon, making too much noise with the machine on purpose.

12:45 p.m. A 911 caller reported the theft of a vehicle at Northeast Fifth and East Main streets, Hermiston.

12:51 p.m. A caller told the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office her friend is having problems with her partner, who verbally abuses her. The sheriff’s office referred the call to the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office.

12:51 p.m. A caller reported the theft of a vehicle at West Fourth Road and West Highway 730, Irrigon. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report.

3:22 p.m. A Hermiston woman told police she has a restraining order against her ex and he has been calling her nonstop and his mother connected her on his behalf as well.

5:41 p.m. A caller reported a prowler on South Water Street, Weston. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report.

6:47 p.m. A caller reported the theft of a vehicle from South Broad Street, Weston. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report.

10:14 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a disturbance on Depot Lane, Irrigon, about a female who was yelling.

Wednesday, May 8

1:24 a.m. A caller in Irrigon asked the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office about reporting a domestic disturbance. The sheriff’s office took a report.

11:22 a.m. A caller at East Umatilla County Health in Athena reported a domestic violence victim was at the clinic. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest in the matter.

12:47 p.m. A resident in Boardman reported her husband grabbed and shoved her and still was at the home.

1:14 p.m. A caller reported a male in a blue hooded sweatshirt at Sixth and A streets in Umatilla dropped a blue baggie off the bridge and walked away.

3:21 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a property manager’s husband came to the residence on Estate Loop, Irrigon, caused problems and tried to hit someone.

4:58 p.m. A 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance on South First Street, Hermiston.

9:48 p.m. A 911 caller on Blue Jay Street, Umatilla, reported a domestic disturbance.

Thursday, May 9

9:57 a.m. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy reported a street sign at Southeast Brandon Street and Utah Avenue, Irrigon, was partially out of the ground. The deputy said wind may have been the cause. The sheriff’s office advised the Irrigon Public Works Department.

12:21 p.m. A 911 caller at Nugent Park, Umatilla, reported a worker suffered a facial injury.

1:12 p.m. A Hermiston resident reported their landline keeps making 911 calls, and even makes them with the phone unplugged. The caller said the phone company was working on the problem.

1:34 p.m. Hermiston police received a complaint about a restraining order violation on Northwest 13th Street. Police took a report.

1:58 p.m. Hermiston police received a complaint about a burglary on the 100 block of West Ridgeway Avenue.

2:59 p.m. A resident in Irrigon asked to speak to someone at the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office about a possible restraining order violation.

11:56 p.m. Local law enforcement responded to Driftwood RV Park, Boardman, for a female throwing beer bottles at vehicles.

Friday, May 10

1:49 a.m. A 911 caller reported her husband was driving south on Highway 395 in Stanfield while on drugs.

8:35 a.m. Oregon State Police received a report of a crash of a Chrysler PT Cruiser heading west on Interstate 84 near milepost 158 in Morrow County. The driver, a 32-year-old man from Fairview, fell asleep, and the Cruiser collided with a flatbed car trailer a pickup was hauling. The Cruiser rolled several times and the driver suffered minor injuries; an ambulance took him to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.

12:19 p.m. A motorcyclist reported he was at Toll Rock Road about 3 miles from Highway 207 near Heppner and his motorcycle fell over and he needed help getting it upright.

2:59 p.m. Umatilla police received a report of a domestic disturbance on Barton Loop.

5:55 p.m. A caller reported a male took her gray 2005 Audi from a friend’s residence on Southwest Nevada Avenue in Irrigon. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report for vehicle theft.

9:48 p.m. A resident on Northwest Washington Avenue, Irrigon, reported hearing seven or eight gunshots southeast of his location, possibly near Highway 730. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded but did not find anyone shooting.

11:41 p.m. A caller at Love’s Travel Stop and Country Store, Boardman, reported hearing gunshots. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office checked the area but did not find anyone shooting.

Saturday, May 11

7:56 a.m. A resident on North Main Street, Heppner, reported someone broke a window out of one of his vehicles.

12:36 p.m. A resident of Pioneer Lane, Boardman, reported his daughter took his gray Subaru car and headed toward Hermiston.

3:32 p.m. Hermiston police received a report of an assault on the 1200 block of West Highland Avenue.

6:48 p.m. A 911 caller on East Elm Avenue, Hermiston, reported a domestic disturbance.

10:26 p.m. A caller reported an assault on the 1100 block of South First Street, Hermiston.

Sunday, May 12

1:30 a.m. A caller on Wilson Lane, Boardman, reported hearing eight gunshots every 10-15 minutes west of her location. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office checked the area but found no one shooting.

7:49 a.m. A caller reported the theft of an electric bicycle on East May Street, Heppner.

8:36 a.m. A 911 caller reported a disturbance on Kiwi Court in Umatilla.

2:57 p.m. 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance on Orchard Street in Umatilla.

3:25 p.m. A 911 caller at McNary Market in Umatilla reported three girls were trying to assault her.

10:13 p.m. A caller on Birch Court, Umatilla, complained about noise.

10:58 p.m. A 911 caller complained about noise at Wildwood RV Park in Umatilla.

Monday, May 13

5:30 a.m. A caller at Correa Trucking on Frontage Lane, Hermiston, reported a large German shepherd won’t let her leave her house. The dog did not seem aggressive, she said, but jumped up and almost knocked her over. Local law enforcement returned the dog to its owner.

10:20 a.m. A caller reported someone threw a rock through the window of the Church of the Nazarene on North Gilmore Street in Heppner.

10:40 a.m. A resident on East Highway 730 in Irrigon reported the theft of his silver Honda Fit.

12:30 p.m. Umatilla police received a complaint from a caller on Martin Drive about a male and female screaming at each other.

4:51 p.m. A 911 caller on Cactus Drive in Hermiston reported a domestic disturbance.

7:07 p.m. A woman in Heppner reported a man she blocked on her phone because he harassed he was texting her from a new number.

7:13 p.m. A caller reported two males who live at Columbia View Apartments in Boardman hit his vehicle with rocks. Local law enforcement took a report.

8:16 p.m. A 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance at Coffee Cup Trailer Park in Umatilla.

Arrests, citations

May 8

Hermiston police arrested Justin Ray Stone Spradlin, 36, for unlawful purchase of a firearm.

Hermiston police arrested Bradley Jack Baker, 59, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (controlled substance) and failure to register a vehicle.

May 11

Boardman police arrested Levis De La Cruz, 22, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol) and on a warrant.

Hermiston police arrested Pete Amaro Hernandez, 72, for menacing and unlawful use of a weapon.

May 12

Umatilla police arrested Jessica Marie Gray, 36, for felon in possession of a weapon.
