HERMISTON — Lego fans are invited to help celebrate JB Brick Company’s fifth anniversary.

The event begins Thursday, Aug. 1, noon to 6 p.m. at 295 E. Main St., in downtown Hermiston. The celebration continues Friday, Aug. 2, noon to 6 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 3, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Activities include Lego games, giveaways and special deals. In addition, everyone is invited to enter the 100 Brick Speed Build Competition.

To participate in the contest, stop in anytime during the three-day celebration. Contestants will be given a container of 100 random Lego bricks to make a creation within 20 minutes.

The contest features three age categories, including 5-9, 10-17 and adults — first place in each group will win a $25 gift card. Entries will be judged and the winners will be announced on Aug. 7.
