Boardman chamber seeks nominations for Distinguished Citizens Awards Banqu

- Deena Galloway is all smiles after winning the frontline worker of the year award on March 8, 2024, during the Boardman Distinguished Citizens Awards Banquet at the Port of Morrow's Riverfront Center. Nominations for the 2025 event must be submitted by Dec. 15, 2024.
BOARDMAN — The Boardman Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its 2025 Distinguished Citizens Awards Banquet.
The award categories include educator, frontline worker, youth citizen, business person and business of the year, and the Pioneer Award. Nominations can be submitted via bit.ly/3C7yZqd. The deadline is Sunday, Dec. 15.
The 35th annual event is March 7 at the SAGE Event Center. It begins with cocktails at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the award presentations at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Feb. 1.
