STANFIELD Yvonne L. Himmerich died Wednesday, Feb. 28, at her home in Stanfield at the age of 67.
She was born July 7, 1933, in Oneill, Neb., to Leo and Laura Rouse Wyant. She was raised and attended schools in Nebraska. She moved to Spokane, Wash., and lived there for several years before returning to Oneill, Neb.
She married Edwin Ed Himmerich on May 25, 1970, in Neligh, Neb. They lived throughout the western United States as Ed worked in power line construction until moving to Stanfield in 1980. They have lived there since.
She enjoyed gambling, fishing and snowmobiling.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin Ed Himmerich of Stanfield; son, Eddie Himmerich of Kennewick, Wash.; daughter, Amy Welch of Redmond, Wash.; brothers, Paul Wyant and Donald Wyant, both of Emmett, Idaho, and Arnold Wyant of McNary; and a sister, Jackie Chase of Centralia, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Valdon Wyant; and sisters, Cleta Ferris, Helen Murphy, Vivian Alkire and Evelyn Allmer.
At her request no service will be held. Disposition was by cremation.
Those who wish may make contributions in Yvonnes memory to a charity of their choice. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of the arrangements.
