Auditions for a new musical based on local history are April 1-2, 6-9 p.m. in Bob Clapp Theatre at Blue Mountain Community College, 2411 NW Carden Ave., Pendleton.

“The Petticoat Rebellion” shines a spotlight on a group of women who in 1916 ran an undercover election campaign and took control of the city of Umatilla. The musical is written by Jennifer Colton-Jones, of Pendleton, who also will direct the production.
Presented by College Community Theatre, the show includes both singing and non-singing roles for ages 8 and older. The audition form is available via bit.ly/3TwTguq.

The SAGE Center invites families to stop in for educational activities during spring break. Visitors can watch how a potato turns into a curly fry, as well as try simulated experiences of milking a cow and driving a tractor.

Enjoy a hearty meal while supporting the efforts of the Irrigon Multicultural Arts Center. A fundraising breakfast is Saturday, March 30, 7:30-10:30 a.m. at Stokes Landing Senior Center, 150 Columbia Lane, Irrigon.
The menu includes pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage patties, hash browns and biscuits with country gravy. The cost is $5 per person.
