Fireworks 4

Just after midnight Friday, fireworks and flame lit up the sky above Hermiston to celebrate the end of the year and the beginning of 2011. The seventh annual pyrotechnics display included about 250 firework shells and a 250-ft wall of fire, paid for with a $3,000 budget donated by local businesses. Jess Terry, of American Fencing, started the program and continues to run it, seeking donations each year and, as a pyrotechnician, crafting the show.
