The Riverside Pirates earned a share of the EOL lead over the weekend, winning home games with Grant Union on Friday and Burns on Saturday.

While leading scorer Marco Carranza only had 11 points for the Pirates, guard Erik Ruiz stepped up his game and scored a game-high 19 points.

What the Pirates didnt get from Carranza in the scoring column, they got in the rebounding column. He snatched a game-high 15 boards.

Against the Hilanders on Saturday, Carranza and Noel Villegas each scored 15 points. 

Riversides defense really clamped down on Burns in the third quarter, resulting in a 10-1
